Of Protests And Amateur Reporters

It's not suprising in the least that Fox"News" would begin framing the DNC by highlighting a protest.

What's even more interesting, is that the reporter on the scene, Griff Jenkins - might as well have been called Spencer Maryweather III - dives right into the crowd and literally shoves the mic into people's faces.



"Do you not believe in freedom of speech"?

What kind of question is that? They're protesting, aren't they?

And, can anyone at Fox"News" not wrap their head around the notion that everyone in the Democratic party has an opinion. I mean, do they think that the majority of us just sit at home and let the "crazies" do the talking for us?

Jenkin's apparent intentionaly improper handling of the protest march and the Fox anchor's statement that people are willing to re-create the riots of the 1968 DNC aside, the protestors could have come up with something more to say. But, refusing to talk to answer dumb questions like "don't you believe in freedom of speech" is a good way to start.
