Apparently Fox"News" and the fine, upstanding, Christian folks at Fox Nation are claiming that this is completely inappropriate.



Let's take a look at what Fox"News" is talking about on their website today.



Let's see, Girls Gone Wild, Gisele in lingerie, Tiger Woods' penis, and hey, a list of Maxim's 100 hottest women. They don't seem to have a problem with this apparently. And though it may be a stretch, they are even conjuring the image of Lady Gaga and a child having sex. Go figure.

Fox"News" and conservatives have always had a serious problem when it comes to women, pornographic imagery, and knowing what will get them ratings. After all, nothing gets a man in his 60s jazzed up like a new set of golf clubs and Bill O'Reilly showcasing scantily clad women on his program. And truth-be-told, it's not just Bill, it's the whole network.



For Fox"News" and the Fox Nation to even question what is and what isn't appropriate for the country while showcasing racy and near pornographic images is not only sad by hypocritical. And they are even using this to defend Ms. "full-frontal-opposite-marriage-finger-bang" herself - Carrie Prejean. It was almost to be expected.

Some Thoughts For Your Day

- Conservatives favorite Prima Donna, Carrie "Full Frontal Fingerbang Opposite Marriage" Prejean decided that she would try to get a little saucy with Larry King and refused to answer a very simple, very honest question that is relevant to her story. The show took a bizarre turn when Prejean was speaking with someone off camera and promptly removed her mic and refused to continue when faced with the possibility of having to take a question from a caller. What a strong role-model for conservative women everywhere.

- Michelle Malkin, along with virtually every member of the fringe-conservative movement enyoy invoking the "out of context" phrase whenever they are called out for their rank hypocrisy, ignorance, and plan idiotic blathering. But now Malkin, grande dame of twisting the relevant data of a story in order to push her particular brand of ideological drooling insists that a suggestion by one writer at The Huffington Post is a sign that all liberals and progressives have it out for conservative authors. The party of context strikes again.

- Retired Col. Ralph Peters, a favorite "war-hawk that never saw day one of combat" of Fox"News" found Obama's speech at Fort Hood deeply offensive. This is all to be expected, as this man would likely find the words of Christ offensive should they not include anything about killing all the people that don't worship the way he does. But moreover, Peters seems all to willing to rush to judgement - like the remainder of the conservative media at large - about what truly motivated Hasan to kill. It doesn't help to blame Obama and assume that PC culture lead to these deaths that day.

Some Thoughts For Your Day

- On this Veterns Day, it's important to not only look at what the brave men and women of the Armed Forces have done for this country, but what we should do for them once their time in the service is completed. It's relevant to note that last year over 2200 veterans died because of lack of healthcare coverage.

- In a moment of weakness, Britt Hume let loose with a flash of honesty on Bill O'Reilly's Fox"News" program recently by correcting Bill and stating that a plurality of Americans ( at least 55% ) prefer healthcare reform with a public option. One can only speculate what people like Hannity, Beck, and Fox"News" figure-head Roger Ailes thought of Hume's off-script ad-lib.

- Is it a suprise to anyone that Fox"News" would edit in footage to make a gathering of slobbering conservatives look larger than it really is?

- One would think that people wouldn't assumption that anyone that isn't from this country is a terrorist. Unfortunately, this isn't the case.

- The Prejean book tour and masturbation seminar continued recently with the former Miss California touting that she is going through the same thing as Sarah Palin. It's likely that Carrie is attempting to capitalize on Palin's own rock-star status and hope that by some form of creepy osmosis that she will be seen in the same light. Has anyone noticed the creepy "Stepford Wife" way in which Prejean presents herself in whenever she does interviews?

Is Fox"News" Defending Underage Porn?

I had almost forgotten that Carrie Prejean had someone write a book for her that she put her name on. But I was reminded during last night's Hannity where Sean took an active roll in defending the "sex tape" of the former Miss California and let Prejean recite her scripted apology/explaination.

There's an element to this that seems to run completely counter to what Fox"News" claims. Sean is defending underage pornography. There's no other way to look at this, as Carrie openly admitted that she was under 18 when the tape was made.

This morning on Fox&Friends, Steve Doocy sat with Prejean while she rattled off the same talking-points she delivered on Hannity's program the night before.

Why is this not troubling to conservatives? Because of who Carrie Prejean is, because she's the "gimmick", the "pretty girl". They are ignoring what this is because Carrie delivers the message and is willing to be their tool.

I wonder what those at the Values Voter Summit have to think about Ms. Prejeans film debut and Fox's apparent uncaring stance towards it?

Opposite Marriage XXX

Turns out she just might be a "loose" lady rather than a "Luce" lady.

Carrie Prejean demanded more than a million dollars during her settlement negotiations with Miss California USA Pageant officials -- that is, until the lawyer for the Pageant showed Carrie an XXX home video of her handiwork.

The video the lawyer showed Carrie is extremely graphic and has never been released publicly. We know that, because TMZ obtained the video months ago but decided not to post it because it was so racy. Let's just say, Carrie has a promising solo career.

We're told it took about 15 seconds for Carrie to jettison her demand and essentially walk away with nothing.

I wonder what Fox"News" and conservative bloggers and pundits think of their second-favorite pageant girl now?

You Mean She's Still Around

Yep, she's still trying to milk this ride for all it's worth.



Oh, yeah, she's SOOOOO brave. It takes a lot of courage to become a conservative media darling overnight. I'm sure she cries herself to sleep in hotels that The Heritage Foundation and FreedomWorks are paying for.

And she's "never seen anything like this?" Really? Sounds like Miss Prejean needs to do a little studying on her socio-political history of America. Sure, she may just be 22, but it wasn't that long ago that the entire conservative machine was accusing Obama of being a terrorist sympathizer, a secret Muslim, and.........oh, wait, they're still doing that, aren't they.

A few more points on this.

Did you see the edit @ 2:06 and 2:44? Wonder what was cut. Probably just more about how "she's an instrument of God" and more pleas for people to feel sorry for her.

Also, why the uncomfortable pause between 2:56 and 3:05? There doesn't appear to be anyone heckling her. Maybe that voice in her head that she thinks is God was telling her to wrap it up.

And what's with the pausing her faux "choke up" to ham-it-up for the cameras. Wait, I think I just answered my question about the edit points. Pure, beauty-queen nonsense. And these people ate it up.

This Will Not End Well

She's been the new "Joe The Plumber" ever since the Miss USA pageant, so can she have a clever nickname too?

She's not going away, and it won't be without a fight.

The former Miss California's lawyer, Charles LiMandri, is going on the offensive against state pageant organization and director Keith Lewis, claiming to E! News that Lewis plotted Prejean's downfall by knowingly sending her lists of events and opportunities that were beyond the typical expected duties.

Typical duties?

Granted, I know little of what it takes to be in teh "pageant-class" - other than being "enhanced", vacuous, have the ability to be coached into doing and saying almost anything, and be virtually devoid of any individuality - but why is this even an issue anymore?

If she didn't win Miss USA because of her beliefs, then it's Perez Hilton, as well as the other judges, that are at fault. But, there's a much larger point to all this....

WHO ---- REALLY ---- CARES!!!!

For all intent and purpose, what is the point of being Miss America, Miss Universe, or even Miss Midwest Kettle-corn Princess? Does this somehow open the door to other, more lucrative, job possibilities?

It's all about outer, faux, beauty and speaking and glittering generalites that mean nothing.

This woman is willing to waste the court's time by suing?

You know, the more that I hear from Prejean, and her mouth-agape fanbase ( read: Fox"News" ) the more that I'm intrigued by how this is all going to end.

Joe "The Non-Plumbing-Gimmick" Wurzelbacher faded into obscurity not long ago. No bang, no catasrophic outburts in public with a 1-1/4" socket-wrench, no women coming forward saying that he fathered any children, no gay sex scandal, nothing.

Something tells me that Carrie is getting in WAY over her head now.

Actually, Carrie Prejean is more than likely going to be better off, in terms of a career, now that she isn't Miss California anymore. She's certainly getting her Fox"News"-bitter-anchor-woman schtick down.

Here's something that Ms. Prejean isn't considering or is just flatly ignoring - this is a Donald Trump business. He's not going to fuck around and go to bat for you and then allow you to trot around in your tiara and sash over at Fox anytime you feel like it. He's not going to put up with it, period.

But this isn't about how Trump runs his business. This is all about Carrie Prejean, "victim".

So let's hope that we can hear from the Special Olympics, these unnamed "hospitals", these people that Carrie seemed to have to call on her own. Surely Miss California has a press agent to do these things for her. And after all these alleged calls that she had to make on her own and she can't even call Donald Trump or Mr. Lewis, the director of the Miss California pagent?

Was she really that distressed over being fired or is she just ready to ride this train as far as it will take her?

They Loved Her So Much She Got Fired

Carrie "Full-Frontal-Opposite-Marriage" has been fired from her "duties" as Miss California because she couldn't follow orders.

Seems that she can't be bothered to get the proper clearance from Trump to do extra stuff like this and this.

We should all be prepared for her to be hired as a "consultant" on Fox"News" in the near future so that she can discuss "stuff". Hey, put her on Cavuto's program, she probably knows as much about the economy as he does.

Shuster has a point, though his is going to be lambasted for it on Fox"News" tonight for letting the wall that seperates news anchor and honest American slip. What is all the fuss about?

Here's why this is such a big deal.

Carrie Prejean is now a household name not because she is Miss California, not because she "opposes" gay marriage, but because she is another in a long line of media-created controversy-mannequins. There's been thousands like here before, and when her time is up - and since she's retained the crown, that moment is fastly approaching - there will be thousands more to come.

Shuster's outburst is indicative of not only his pesonal beliefs, but those of the bulk of Americans who see the Miss Universe Corporation ( and that's why Trump is part of this, it makes him money ) as a visual distraction from everyday life.

What exactly does Carrie Prejean have to offer the world, seriously?

Has she invented a longer lasting lightbulb? A cure for cancer? Discovered that magic number of licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie-Pop? The answer to those questions, and more, is an emphatic NO.

Sure, she'll travel around California and have her picture taken at events, answer questions from media outlets that are better off focusing on the needs of their audience rather than kowtowing the the platic nature of the pageantry-class. Because, at the end of the day, what is Carrie Prejean other than just another blonde with fake boobs and a desire to have people look at her so she can tell them exactly what they want to hear?

As far as David Shuster is concerned, this particular video isn't so much about Ms. Prejean as it is about him. Well, that's going to be the Fox"News" perspective this evening. That's because this is their type of story.

Here we have a vaccuous blonde with ( non-too-impressive ) fake boobs that is ready to go all-in and tell Perez Hilton that she believes in the "sanctitiy" of marriage. They are sitting there, in the control rooms and editing suites, ready to have B-roll footage for O'Reilly, Beck, Hannity, and whomever else can use it. Color-corrected, chopped quotes, and talking-points memos distributed en masse to all their anchors. It's almost as sensational as the latest "missing-white-girl" story. Only this time, the girl can talk, do press tours, provide the "context" with which they so eagerly coax out of her.

For Trump, this is a business decision. The more face-time Prejean gets, the more money he gets. It's win win for him.

Fox"News" doesn't give two twinkles about Carrie Prejean. She's their new toy. They'll play with her so long as she is willing to bend over and take it with a smile. Make no mistake that they are always looking out for the next gimmick.

And isn't that what the pageant-class is all about, gimmicks?

No, it's not to early to call it. If this one isn't a winner, it's in the running.

It's always a great way to end your week by claiming that you know more about the bible than somebody else. And, when your the fanatical, religious-right, you are always going to shriek the loudest and claim that you hold some sort of moral high-ground.

Although I find Miss California's ascention as the new Republican toy-of-the-moment quite telling of not only her opportunistic ways, but of the party that can't seem to have a coherent message. They loved Sarah Palin for her beauty-pageant, glittering generalities a answers, so why not Carrie Prejean?

The issue of gay rights and gay marriage is always going to be something that the Right rails againsts not just because they think they understand the bible more than everyone - though that is what they will tell you - but simply because of the "yuck" factor. In essence, their mentality is that of a gradeschool child who thinks that they'll get cooties if a boy or girl touches them. They speak of love, God, and faithfulness as if they know exactly what all those really mean.

Now that the religious-right has latched onto Ms. Prejean and gone after Perez Hilton, it couldn't get much more pathetic, could it?

Oh, you completely underestimate them. It seems that Miley "Hannah Montana" Cyrus has been "tweeting" with Perez Hilton. Oh, no!

I am a Christian and I love you - gay or not - because you are no different than anyone else! We are all God's children.

It appears that Ms. Miley doesn't seem to understand that not all "Christians" are as loving as her.

Such statements will send the wrong message to our children who are influenced by this teenage megastar. Parents need to realize that Cyrus is not the positive role model she was once thought to be.

Take Action

Send Miley Cyrus a letter stating that you do not approve of her comments.

Clearly she is confused and does not understand the Bible. Please pray for the Lord to open her eyes to the truth.

That's right, they're going after Hannah Montana. I'm guessing the Jonas Brothers' agents are arranging a new talking-points memo as we speak.

It's So Cute When They Beg

Please. She’s Christian, supports traditional marriage, and opposes government handouts. If that’s not a Sarah Palin fan, I don’t know what is. You’re a Republican, gorgeous; own it.

The drooling comments from the HotAir gang will provide some good laughs for your Monday morning. Once again, the conservative Right prefers style over substance.

What Allah doesn't realize is that she's a beauty-pageant contestant. She's been coached to give glittering generalities for anwers. Come to think of it, she does meet the new qualifications to be the VP pick for the next Republican candidate for President.
