Breaking News: Meghan McCain Has Tits - Twitter Followers Goes Nuts

I follow lots of people on Twitter - from the average joe and jane, to businessmen, porn-stars, politicos, other bloggers, and yes, Meghan McCain. She's not always someone that I agree with and there is still that spektre of John McCain being her day, but she's still a more tolerable than say Mary Kathrine Ham and not nearly as single-minded as that Scott Baio kid from Happy Days. But when people get incensed about this pic:

Then what's really going on?

I honestly didn't recognize her at first, but realized it was here. What I didn't expect was to hear that she was suddenly branded a slut. Was it the fact that she like Warhol? Was it her pseudo-90s banana-clip hair-style? Oh, it's the boobs.

You know, for all the salivating that men in the Republican party did over Sarah Palin, of all the adoration that was showered upon her simply because of her cougarish looks, why suddenly are people enraged by Meghan McCain's sweater tigers?

Yes, she's good looking and has a great pair of baby feeders. Are Republican women not supposed to be proportionate in this way? Apparently some think so. People are quite perculiar at times in their behavior towards women that are attractive, and this is just another example of that.

It apparently got so bad that Meghan was considering deleting her Twitter account:

why I have been considering deleting my twitter account, what once was fun now just seems like a vessel for harassment.

If she quits, then she quits, but if she lets the puritanical ravings of a small segment of the Twitterati get to her like that, then she really needs to toughen-up. She certainly handled the Laura Ingraham dust-up better than this.

Some Thoughts For Your Day

- If reporters, news anchors, and radio show hosts know ( not think ) that someone killed another person, why on earth do they say “allegedly”?

- Considering the very real fact that conservatives are always acting as if they are in the minority when it comes to media, wouldn’t it make sense for them to welcome The Fairness Doctrine?

- And speaking of conservative media, since Fox”News” enjoys such high ratings, why do they continue to talk down about the “mainstream” media? After all, when more people gravitate towards a certain person, place, or thing, that is what makes it mainstream.

- If it costs more to make a penny than what it is worth, why are they still being made?

- Has there ever been a scientific experiment to see if God does exist?

- If Christians are supposed to be compassionate and emulate the life of Jesus, why is it that so many are racists, some even advocating the death of Obama?

- Why is it that conservatives love the batshit loony Michelle Bachman, but they have SERIOUS issues with the wit and intellect of Al Franken?

- If people are so willing to have their state secede from the Union, then why don’t they? Perhaps they don’t realize how tremendously ignorant they are.

- Meghan McCain would likely be taken more seriously if she weren’t John McCain’s daughter.

Like We Didn't Already Know, Meghan

In a recent interview for Out magazine, Meghan McCain talked about her stance on gay marriage and how not only her and her father differ, but how her standpoints on many issues differ with the status quo in Republican ideology.

And when asked about Joe "The Former Gimmick That Somehow Still Gets Press" Wurzelbacher, she said what many of us have been saying from the beginning:

Joe the Plumber — you can quote me — is a dumbass. He should stick to plumbing

And when Joe's reaction to the gay lifestyle was reported ( did it really have to be? We all knew what he was going to say ) it wasn't exactly a bombshell scoop worthy of front-page attention.

It bears repeating - I almost like Meghan McCain. Her stance regarding what has been and what continues to hold back the Republican party are not simply honest, but relevant. After all, the modern GOP - as fractured and meandering as they are - are stuck in this mindset that it should always be the 1950s. However, Meghan doesn't come off as the strong voice that she desires to be simply because of who her father is. No one, well maybe a few people are, is saying that she needs to completely distance herself from her father in order for her words to have more validity. But, being the daughter of John McCain is quite a load to bear.

It's True, But We Shouldn't Mention It

There are times where I really want to like Meghan.

But here's her problem - she has good intentons, but she continuously comes off as the stereotypical "blonde" when it comes to political discourse.

If she is truly passionate about "bi-partisanship" ( which I think will never be possible ) then she needs to own her convictions - if she really has any.

There are a ton of variables holding this woman back.

She's going to be inextricably tied to her father for the rest of her life. Sure, she loves him like any daughter would - no one is discounting that. But her own point of view is going to be overshadowed by John McCain no matter what she says.

She seems to think that she can move through her socio-political and personal life on the very fact that she is John McCain's daughter. Once she is able to shed that image and that arena of thought, she'll be better off. Should she abandon her faimly? Not unless their own actions are making life unbearable. But, how unbearable can a life been when your family is filthy fucking rich?

And that's a huge anchor for Meghan. She's part of the "elite" in America, whether she will admit it or not. At times, she'll attempt to connect with people but ultimately fall flat on her face when she says something remarkably stupid. Much like she did when she addressed the Log Cabin Republicans:

I am proud to join you in challenging the mold and the notions of what being a Republican means. I am concerned about the environment. I love to wear black. I think government is best when it stays out of people's lives and business as much as possible. I love punk rock. I believe in a strong national defense. I have a tattoo. I believe government should always be efficient and accountable. I have lots of gay friends. And yes, I am a Republican.

Wow, what "mavericky" rhetoric - what power of conviction. Black, tattoos, AND gay friends. Awesome.

The point is that Meghan needs to step it up, prove to the world that she isn't that image that many think she is.

Yes, Meghan, We Know Who The Fuck You Are

Rarely do I give in to gossip about politicians and celebrities, but the ever blurring line between the two is becoming more and more difficult to discern.

Which brings us to Meghan McCain.

She tends to stradle that line between moderately attractive daughter of moody, Republican politician/twice failed Presidential candidate and the Republican's version of Paris Hilton.

Her weekend didn't do much to do away with the image of the later.

Meghan manaaged to squeeze her tits into a dress that I am guessing she got from the Clash Of The Titans wardrobe sale on EBAY and headed out to the White House Corespondants Dinner, with two friends. The only problem is that she only had two tickets.

I'm sure you can guess what happened next.

“The security guard sent her to talk to someone to sort out the situation, but Meghan got bratty and nastily told him, ‘We’ll just stand here then,’ like an insolent child,” our source said, adding that after dealing with the guard, “She muttered to her friends, ‘Does he even know who the f--- I am?’ ”

And she wonders why Laura Ingraham and Ann Coulter make fun of her. You're not helping Meghan.

Meghan McCain Is Interesting

In a speech before the Log Cabin Republicans, Meghan McCain had this to say:

So tonight, I am proud to join you in challenging the mold and the notions of what being a Republican means. I am concerned about the environment. I love to wear black. I think government is best when it stays out of people’s lives and business as much as possible. I love punk rock. I believe in a strong national defense. I have a tattoo. I believe government should always be efficient and accountable. I have lots of gay friends. And yes, I am a Republican.

Nevermind the fact that the Log Cabin Republicans are about supporting gays within the Republican party, Meghan doesn't seem to be able to see past the "I'm not bad because I have gay friends" meme. This isn't to say that she doesn't advocate on their part in private, but if you're going to call yourself a "progressive republican", you need to prove it. By their very nature, Republicans - particularly within the conservative realm - are regressive.

And her placing tattoos, punk rock, and black coture on the same playing field as national defense and the size of governmnent intrusion into the private lives of the citizenry seems smell a bit off. Not because Republicans haven't frowned on counter-culture, because they have. But, if Meghan has a desire to be taken seriously, she needs to show it in what she says.

On that point, I'm guessing "tramp-stamp" for the tattoo and I'm hoping she's speaking more about The Ramones than Good Charlotte.

But Does It Bring All The Boys To Your Yard

Apparently, there is a verbal-war brewing between Meghan ( My Daddy Lost The Election So Now Read My Blog ) McCain and Laura ( My Fox"News" Show Got Cancelled ) Ingraham.

McCain seems to have raised the ante by posting these tweets this evening.

For those of you that don't know, or have more to do with your lives than listen to pathetic ditherings from lunatic-fringe people like Laura Ingraham, here's an update:

And you wonder why her Fox show got cancelled?

It's nice to see that the Right have essentially devolved into "your ugly and your mom dresses you funny" responses.

But Ingraham is nothing more than a rank amatuer amongst the more "learned" prattle-heads that she so hopes to immulate.

So what was Meghan's response?

Please stop talking about my body

.......swing, and a miss.

Meghan, you have this golden opportunity, and that's all you can come up with.

Oh, well.

Truth-be-told, Meghan McCain is rather attractive......

Perhaps Laura seems threatened. Maybe not. Who knows.

That being said, who's up for a steel-cage, hot-oil wrestling match between the two?

Wait, just got this image of Ingraham lubing up.

Not pretty. Thankfully, I haven't had dinner yet.

Still Not Talking?

The more Meghan McCain says "no comment" REALLY makes we want to hear a comment. But, you kind of get the gist of what she would say.

So, you don't want to comment about "the past" or "the campaign" even though you just did?

Meghan McCain Tries Not To Be An "Anonymous Blogger"?

Meghan McCain blogs.

So, now that that is out of the way, we know who she is, what she does, so she can't be labeled as "anonymous". But, she could have been mistaken for one.

In an interiew with Monday Morning Clacker, Meghan talks about blogging, life after the election and the one thing she won't talk about:

MMC: If you could change one thing about the election what would it be?

MM: “Nothing, it was the most liberating experience of my life and I am such a different person now than I was when I started the blog. It was truly an invaluable experience and I sit here today as an incredibly proud daughter and member of the Republican Party.”

MMC: So, no comment on the selection of Governor Sarah Palin as Senator McCain’s running mate?

MM: “Sarah Palin is the only part of the campaign that I won’t comment on publicly.”

Meghan, love, I think you just did.

All that aside, one of the more telling portions of the interview was this little nugget of joy:

When asked "what have you been up to since the election?"

In between visiting family and friends, I’ve been learning how to ride a motorcycle. I was inspired by Bikers For McCain and want to go back to Sturgis next year and do bike week right.

I'll let you make up your own internet headlines for when that video hits YouTube.
