How To Lose Votes

Remember when Herman Cain ( oh, wait, aren't we supposed to call him Herm or Herb now? ) said he would get no less than a third of the black vote?

Let's all watch as that vote magically disappears right before your eyes.

Yep, nothing like telling the black community that a majority of them lack higher brain functions and have no clue that conservative policies are what have kept them down for decades.

Of course, Cain attempts to offer the caveat that it's just 2/3 of blacks in America that suffer under the yolk of Democratic telekinetic suppression, but where is the data to back up this assertion? Oh, I see, Cain just made it up. It's his "anecdotal feedback machine" that he keeps hidden in his suit jacket.

The reality of this is that Cain just made a massive gaffe. All that has to happen now is for the Modern American Right to gin up enough spin to make this sound like a positive for the GOP field, and for Cain more specifically. I'm sure their will be some colorful chart used and Sean Hannity will utilize his own racial invective to back this up by having Eric Rush and Jesse Lee Peterson on as the "token black guys".

I bet Cain's foot tastes like Godfather's Deep Dish Pepperoni.

Sort Of OK With Him, Except....

I'm getting to the point where Palin is almost too much to bear. But how can I get tired of someone that makes the caricaturist's pen fly with such grace.

Wold Blitzer is equally to blame for this. Or, maybe he just knows that she'll blurt it out at some point and he just opens that door for her that she's waiting on. Normally, she thinks that "God" will do this for her, but Blitzer is eager to assist her right now:

BLITZER: Because, you know, during a campaign, every presidential campaign, things are said, it's tough, as you well know, it gets sometimes pretty fierce out there. And during the campaign, you said this, you said: "This is not a man who sees America as you see it and how I see America."

And then you went on to say: "Someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect that he is palling around with terrorists who would target their own country."

PALIN: Well, I still am concerned about that association with Bill Ayers. And if anybody still wants to talk about it, I will, because this is an unrepentant domestic terrorist who had campaigned to blow up, to destroy our Pentagon and our U.S. Capitol. That's an association that still bothers me.

So, she's comfortable, but she's not.

I mean, make a decision and stick with it.

Don't Make Excuses For Her

I used to somewhat admire Wolf Blitzer.

Perhaps it was his name, his reporting from the first Gulf War, his passion that he seemed to have, and the wealth of knowledge that he appeared to stand firm on.

Maybe it was the fact that I was just 17 and did really know any better.

Now, Blizter comes of as a drab, almost Thorazine-infused, automaton.

But Jack Cafferty, that's another story.

I don't always agree with what Cafferty says. Sometimes, his "home-spun-lore" delivery and his furrowed brow echo that curmudgeon that sits in the local diner every morning that talks about how life was so grand before ( insert topic of the moment ).

That Jack Cafferty isn't in this video.

He has been replaced with an unscripted honesty that is buried within our media or labeled as "smears" by those that are attempt to usurp power form the ones that know how to weild it effectively.
