The Reality Of A Statement

Conservatives are using the following video to accuse Barack Obama of rank hypocrisy. But they are forgetting something.



The reality behind this statement is clear, and it's ultimately a weakness for Obama.

His hope that there would be bipartisanship, that conservatives would be able to see past their own ideological blatherings, is what drove this statement. I know it, and those that are citing this as hypocrisy likely know it. This is a statement from a man that want to be able to have everyone come together and change a horrible situation without having to resort to something that is legal but frowned upon - even though we are a nation of "majority rule".
