UK, August 26, 2008 - Russell Crowe is considering playing the lead role in a biopic of controversial comedian Bill Hicks, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.
The actor, who now has a gap in his schedule following the postponement of Ridley Scott's Nottingham, told the paper: "I have another project based on the life of comedian Bill Hicks, which is going from treatment to draft stage with Kiwi writer Mark Staufer."
