The Wall Street Journal Has Gone Batty, Seriously

It certainly didn't take long for The Wall Street Journal to start loosing is credibility once Rupert "NewsCorp" Murdock bought it.

Here's an excerpt from Andrew Klavan's op-ed piece entitled:

What Bush and Batman Have in Common

There seems to me no question that the Batman film "The Dark Knight," currently breaking every box office record in history, is at some level a paean of praise to the fortitude and moral courage that has been shown by George W. Bush in this time of terror and war. Like W, Batman is vilified and despised for confronting terrorists in the only terms they understand. Like W, Batman sometimes has to push the boundaries of civil rights to deal with an emergency, certain that he will re-establish those boundaries when the emergency is past.

I think I just threw-up in my mouth a little. Are you fuckin kidding me?

This is the second time this week that someone has used Batman as a political tool of the conservative-right.

I wrote about the first one here.

Is this the new "talking point", use super-hero movies and there "themes" in conjuction with the Republican party and the alleged "War On Terror"?

Holy convolution Batman!!!!!
