So, You Defend Children By Attacking Them? Really?

Apparently, Micheal Weiner Savage appeared on Larry King the other night to defend his verbal attack against children with autism.

I blogged about this earlier.

With substitue host Glenn Beck ( yeah, he's pretty much useless too ) Savage was given a nice platform to defend his "defense of children".

When it was stated that Savage "didn't believe Autism exists", he came off with this gem of a reply:

Savage: No, no, no, no, no. Again, you took what they gave you. But you didn’t take the entire preceding material. […] This was in the broader context of the overmedicalization, the over-diagnosis of disease, using our children as profit centers. I’ve spent all day saying what a shame it is that I — as a man who has spent his entire life defending the defenseless, mainly children — should have to defend myself from charges leveled at me from men who specialize in hating families and children, namely MediaMatters — who probably come after you as well — by ripping things out of context and making me look like the monster that they are.

You know you've cornered yoru opponent when they fall back on the "context" defense. It seems that people like Savage don't even know the definition of the word "context". But, it sounds impressive and there are plenty of people that listen to conservative talk-radio that are easily impressed with "fancy-sounding" words.
