Having grown up in a family that had little but made due with what we did have, I fully understand working hard to get something. I can see how getting a good education and becoming someone that contributes a great deal to society is worthy of a larger salary than most. But, for the very life of me, I cannot comprehend how WellPoint can literally profit off of the sick and dying.
Do any other companies sue the towns and cities they operate in based on their abject greed and selfishness? How many other companies would be allowed to operate in such a manner?
These are the people that conservative Republicans are trying to protect. These are the people that conservative Republicans are defending. These are the people that are responsible for how horrible our system is.
