Of Grocery Store Mags And Reactionary Bloggers

Poor Michelle Malkin.

She gets her knickers in a twist over the most random things.

Nevermind that she was more than pleased when the National Enquirer uncovered the fact that Edwards had had an affair.

Now, comes the latest issue of US Weekly:

Malkin is not pleased, at all:

The next time you’re waiting at the grocery stands and tempted to buy Us magazine, stop and think again. Unless you’re buying it for oppo research, you may not want to put money in the pockets of rabid partisans who have turned their gossip rag into a propaganda arm for the Democrat Party.

The use of the gossip rags to shape the election is all part and parcel of the Brangelina-fication of the Obamas that I wrote about earlier this summer. They are pulling out all the stops to glorify The One and demonize all who stand in his way.

The "gossip-mags" are reshaping the election? Really?

The last "gossip-mag" that had anything to do with a Presidential candidate was The Enquirer. And that was after Edwards dropped out.

Here's the link to part of the article.

Do you think that Malkin or any of her band of followers actually read the story?

Does any reasonable person think that US Weekly is a publication of any value? I mean, if you into knowing what "star" was spotted somewhere wearing something, or some washed-up television actor allegedly did coke at some boat-party in Cabo, or what celebrity kids do on the weekends, then you probably need to get out of the house more.

Malkin likes to use the phrase "suck-it-up".

I've got some more words for her, "get-over-it".
