Trek Trailer Release Info

The only Star Trek movie that is even worth watching has been and always shall be ST II : The Wrath Of Khan. Though The Motion Picture does have it's artistic moments ( the soundtrack is more appealing than the film ) not a single moment in any of the remaining films have much in the way of redeeming qualitites.

Ever since J.J. Abrams was announced as the director of the latest Trek film, there has been a new aura of vitality and validity surrounding the franchise.

Even the teaser that was shown in theatres on the front of Cloverfield gave one the sense that Abrams is going to breath new life into a dead story.

Now, the question stands, when is the full-length trailer going to drop.

According to TrekMovie, "the theatrical trailer coming in November 'is not a teaser, but a real trailer with footage from the film.' Edits are still being made, but it is expected to show the Enterprise exterior and the Enterprise bridge as well as dialog from movie."

Paramount releases slated for November that the Trek trailer could possibly be attached to include Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (Nov. 7) and The Soloist (Nov. 21).

Non-Paramount releases that it could be attached to include Quantum of Solace (Nov. 14), Bolt (Nov. 21), Twilight (Nov. 21), and Transporter 3 (Nov. 28).

The November trailer release is said to only be the beginning of the studio's marketing push for Star Trek. "It is also likely that there will be updates to the official movie site and even possibly a new viral campaign," TrekMovie claims.
