Her campaign website shows that the woman is a full-on member of the wing-nuttiest of the GOP. She even thinks that the government had a role in the Oaklahoma City Bombing.
But now, she's ready to break out the heavy artillery - literally.
Crabill, who seems to be a prime candidate for a guest on Glenn Beck's program, is more cartoonish than the Republicans can afford at this point in Virginia. The Westmoreland Chairman of the GOP said the following in regards to her rhetoric:
Her views will appeal to the faithful, but not to enough people to give us the 51 per cent of the vote we will need to win in November.
And while this may be true, it is the fringe elements of the GOP that people like Catherine Crabill are playing to. Increasingly, the conservative media are stoking the fire within these segments of the Republican party as well. So even though Crabill may come off a a raving lunatic to some, to others she may very well be the voice of reason that urges then to take their 9mm to the next "tea-party" in order to "protect himself".
