My hometown in Kentucky - Madisonville - seems to be stradling the ever-growing economic pit that seems to be opening up underneath everyone else.

Many people here work in the mining industry or in areas that service those.

However, we have job areas that are likely to be inpacted directly by the economy, and harshly.
