But Rand Paul doesn't really believe this, as it's just a moderately clever talking point to use now that the Tea Bagger tantrum has resulted in a more than modest victory.
The "yacht" story again?
Has anyone actually verified this anecdote? Maybe my ability to search for stories like this isn't as great as others, but this certainly doesn't speak to the middle-class and working poor that Paul seems to think don't exist.
This whole "we are one" message from Paul just falls flat with me. Here is a man that is more than willing to ignore problems in his state that plague people every day, more than willing to push aside the issues of lax safety in various working environments, and completely unblushed when his own supporters result to violence.

Hmm, we are either rich or sell to the rich...last time I check Badgett never came to Walmart. Which he isn't a HILL of beans to Oprah, but that's just our LOCAL rich guy. So, again Rand Paul doesn't know what he's talking about. We're NOT all interconnected. If we were the gap between the wealthy and the poorer wouldn't be widening, it would be shrinking and our Middle Class would be growing instead of shrinking. More middle class are finding themselves fringing and living in the midst of poverty. All while those making massive amounts of money are finding more banks to put their funds in because they're NOT getting poorer. I'm ashamed that he's a senator from my state.
