Granted, the word "retard" is a slur against those with mental disabilities, but it wasn't used in that light and Palin provided even more "context" and threw in a little mystery as to how she became aware of Rahm's visceral attack on Senators and NOT perons that are mentally disabled.
Just as we’d be appalled if any public figure of Rahm’s stature ever used the “N-word” or other such inappropriate language, Rahm’s slur on all God’s children with cognitive and developmental disabilities – and the people who love them – is unacceptable, and it’s heartbreaking.
A patriot in North Andover, Massachusetts, notified me of Rahm’s “retarded” slam. I join this gentleman, who is the father of a beautiful child born with Down Syndrome, in asking why the Special Olympics, National Down Syndrome Society and other groups condemning Rahm’s degrading scolding have been completely ignored by the White House. No comment from his boss, the president?
Ah, the mysterious "patriot". And when was the N-bomb even part of what was said. Oh, that's right - it wasn't. No matter though, I'm sure that President Obama will get right on this Rahm issue and have him sacked immediately.
So let me get this straight - Palin thinks that Rahm's acidic tongue and his language ( once again, directed at liberal Senators ) was meant as a slight against her child and that this alleged statement made in private demands that the President fire Rahm?
