Radically Changing Politics

Conservatives have crystallized the lowest common denominator in socio-political discussion. Rather than debate an issue on merit, on fact, it's much easier to play withe people's fears and misconceptions.



Conservative Republicans also continue to claim that Obama has never used the word terror or terrorism, insisting that he isn't serious about the fight our country is engaged in. Yet, they are more than willing to malign Democrats with the terrorists that they say Obama isn't being serious about. So one has to ask, who is really serious about what is and what isn't terrorism. After all, conservatives have been more concerned with the illusion, the feeling, of safety rather than actually being safe.
