More On The Obama's 'Dap'

So, according to some sources - which may or may not be reliable - the statement about the 'fist pound' originated from here. The article was written by Cal Thomas ( syndicated columnist and Fox"News" contributor ) and the comment itself has since disappeared. However, the commentor replies to that comment are still there, so there is an odd sense of disjointment - like these people are discussing something invisible that only they can see.

The initial origination of another conservative talking-point aside, is this the best that the Right can do - devolve to over analyzation of body-language? It's become stand-operating-proceedure for many on the Right ( ever eager to pick up the machinations of the lunatic-fringe ) to distribute smears against those that they disagree with in the form of a question in order to create a thin shield that would protect them and what limited credibility they have.

This seems to be a trend that started with Bill O'Reilly and Tonya Reiman. O'Reilly penchant for blondes aside, this while notion of body language analysis is somehow credible in whatever news cycle we are in is just absurd. Analyzing the movements and sublte jestrures of people with whom O'Reilly disagrees - through a surrogate - he is creating the illusion that his program is employing fact rather than spin and speculation which is the meat of his and many other programs on Fox.

None-the-less, E.D. Hill "apologized"

And while we're on the subject of 'body language', the tables were turned on O'Reilly in this piece from Countdown with Kieth Olbermann
