A Year In The Making

Has it really been that long?

When I first laid claim to this little piece of digital-ground on the outskirts of the internet, I didn't think I would stick with it this long.

At first, and even still, I didn't have many commentors.

True, my style of writing and my approach to the subject matter at hand ( whether it be music, politics, pop-culture, porn, corporate American, or the politics of pop-music in corporate porn ) is not what I see most often. But that's me, and there have been several that have lambasted me for such.

But, I'd like to thank any and all for reading and for commenting.

Thanks to BlueGal for encouraging me to stick with it and showing me places to submit some pieces to so that my audience could grow.

To Dr. Zauis for his comments, suggestions, and allowing this human to remain outside captivity.

To Mike Finnegan for giving me those spots on the Crooks-And-Liars blogroll.

To all the faceless ( and apparently nameless ) conservative commentors that called my all those wonderful names.

I've got some things planned for the upcoming year. Hopefully I can actually implement them without too many problems.
