Aside from the "exclusive" nature of Hannity's multiple interviews with Palin ( as she always comes-a-runnin when Fox"News" calls ) one has to marvel at the shear force of will it takes to be as vacuous and idiotic as Sarah Palin truly is.
Her entire thought process in regards to Barack Obama and his administration revolves around this poorly contructed notion that he is forcing America to become a "socialist" nation. Those of us with even a partially functioning brainstem know full well that the new "conservative version" of "socialism" has little to nothing to do with actual "socialism". But just think about the state that Palin allegedly governs.
Alaska gives money to it's citizenry in a "redistributive" process.
The very concept that she is decrying is literally one of the driving forces of the state.
Then there's this quote:
....I thank God it’s ( the price of oil ) not at $140. You know people say, “Hey, Alaska! Eight-five percent of your state budget is based on the price of a barrel of oil. Aren’t you glad the price is going up?” I say, “No!” The fewer dollars that the state of Alaska government has, the fewer dollars we spend. And that’s good for our families and for the private sector.
That's right, less money is good for people.
Here's where one has to wonder what exactly it is that people within the GOP see in Sarah Palin. Her grasp of macroeconomics is provocatively poor, as is her reasoning skills when confronted with issues that she claims to support.
Every time I read a post from any of the multitude of conservatives, that actively laud Palin as the future of their party, that claim liberals/progressives are "afraid" of her, I have to laugh.
I don't want Sarah Palin to go away. I want her to keep talking as long as she wants.
