This Is Getting Sad

Really? There's a piece up at Huffington Post about Obama possibly appearing in a "rap" video in the early 90s?

Probably not. But if you check out the video for Tag Team's early 90s anthem "Whoomp (There It Is)" you'll find an Obama doppelganger at the 1:01 point. And when seeing it, if you're response is "oh-my-god-that's-Obama-but-wish-I-could-have-a-GIF-that-looped-it," you're in luck. That exists.

Perhaps Biden was in the video for 95 South's non-union Mexican equivalent "Whoot There It Is."

Yeah, we get it, he's black. And while it's only marginally funny - and the Huffington Post sees fit to waste bandwidth in actually putting this in their comedy section, this only leads to the blatantly racist angle that "all black people look alike".

  1. I think it has less to do with him being black, but just one of those urban legends that spreads like fire. It's been "debunked"... it's just a tag line. The only people that might pick this up is Fox News and... well, shit. LOL
