Fox's Mythos

Both these men certainly don't have their finger on the pulse



Hume, as always, is completely on the wrong side of history with this.

The myth of the "center-right nation" is easily dispelled when one recalls that more than half of the voters in 2008 were in favor of Obama AND his plan for this country. More the point though is the reality of his polling. Even though most polls show Obama floating anywhere between 44% to 49%, this reflects the fact that people don't like the fact that he hasn't implemented his plans as quickly as possible. People are wanting the left-leaning agenda that Hume claims the country doesn't want. It's not that we are a center-right nation, it's that many people want instant gratification and some of us realize that it's not that easy and it's not going to happen overnight.
