I guess those "common sense conservative choices" are not filling out the Census which no conservative seemed to have an issue with until Obama took office. After all, you know a black man is going to round up all the whites and put them in concentration camps.

And what of the conservative conscience? Where does it inexorably lead someone? Healthcare reform was left alone by literally every conservative. Financial reform was left alone by every conservative. Domestic policies of every strip are either ignored or the slash and burn mentality kicks in and welfare rolls grow, unemployment grows, and women's reproductive systems are literally legislated into the Stone Age. And that's just the appetizer.

This new conservative concept that everything a Democrat does violates the Constitution is so patently bizarre to me that, at times, it's difficult to wrap my head around it. Experts are stating that the 14 states filing suit against healthcare reform will easily and assuredly fail. Conservatives view the Constitution in such stark, black and white, terms and also have a history of wanted to amend it for their own ideological gains. They simply like to pretend they know what is there.
