Rewriting The History Channel

( h/t Bob Cesca )

It's very en vogue for conservatives to besmirch the legacy of famous politicians upon their passing. And even though there has never been this perfect politician in the world, conservatives are all too eager to ignore the misgivings and short-comings of politicos with which they identify with while highlighting the negative aspects of those whom they despise. It is in this regard that I find it not only disingenuous but patently disgusting when conservatives offer faux condolences to family members of dead Democratic politicians and then 4 days later they begin to rewrite the history of this person to only include their missteps. See Michelle Malkin for a great example of this.
