The Cross-Over Experience
Steven Soderbergh is one of the geniuses of Americna cinema. From his breakthrough film Sex, Lies, and Videotape to his lesser viewed works like Bubble, he has pushed the creative envelope. While many will cite the Ocean's series as a signifier that he has lost his creatve edge, his latest picture, which premired Tuesday at the Tribeca Film Festival, should settle any qualms that his detractors may have.
For the lead role, he cast adult film star Sasha Grey.
Not many people in Hollywood have faith in actors/actresses in the adult genre. But Sasha's performance just may shock some. Here's the trailer.
Sasha has worked in the musical realm as well. She has contributed vocals for Lee "Scratch" Perry as well as co-founding the industrial band ATelecine.
