Seeing this, and reacting to it the way that I did, makes me think back to John Zeigler's mouth-agape, wide-eyed rant about how people watch The Daily Show for news.
Here is another classic case of Stewart, using the news that most of us are well aware of, blending that with the drivel that was coming out of CNBC, and creating comedic news.
It's comedy, but it's still the truth.
