Nevermind The Bush Tax Cuts, Its All MSNBC's Fault
Ok, from the start, I will admit that I am no economist - something that O'Reilly, Rove, and all like them, will never do even though they pontificate as if they are John Forbes Nash in Right-Wing form.
From what I am gathering from Obama's ideas, is that the infrastructure projects will potentially have an exponential effect over time.
No one in their right mind - and I use that term in a non-political stance - understands that rebuilding roads, bridges, etc takes time, so the effects will take time as well. Karl Rove seems to think that the people listening to Obama talk about rebuilding America's infrstructure are partially brain-dead.
All that aside, the fact that O'Reilly is framing this withing in the context ( dammit, there's that word again that people like him don't understand ) of "media bias" is resoundingly absurd. As equally absurd as Sean Hannity's claim that everything is fine:
*props to Newshounds for the video grab*
But something has happened. Something changed. There was a shift in rhetoric, quiet, nearly as imperceptible as.......well, it was actually quite blatant. Bill O'Reilly just did a 180 on his "the economy is fine" schtick that his loyal, lock-step, Ensure-swilling crowd, wouldn't catch.
But, some of us did.
More here and a fantastic post from Dave Neiwert @ Crooks & Liars.
