In the case of Michelle Malkin, she's trying her best to keep her head above water and spin the results as best she can.
During those tense moments, we tend to make typographical errors. We screw up. But just take a look at this screen-grab from a few moments ago.

Michelle, sweetie, Elizbeth Dole is running in North Carolina, not Kentucky. I would pretty much give her a pass if the two states were spelled simularly, but she's so off base even a pee-wee league pitcher could pick her off the jump.
And btw, Obama is about to carry Ohio.
