It's difficult to chose just one song by The Cure that stands out above all others.
Though the "Mood Swings" album tended to showcase less of the emotion and power than Robert Smith and company are known for infusing into their music, it still has it's moments.
But, if pressed, I would have to say that Pictures Of You contains the raw, emotive, resonance that makes The Cure the powerful band that they are.
While I am slightly biased towards this particular track, it was form of cold-comfort that I held pretty tightly to about 7 years ago, I think that many of you will agree that this is a classic not soon to be rivaled.
