Corsi vs. Media Matters' Waldman

It's standard operating procedure for Fox"News" ( specifically Sean Hannity ) to attack Barack Obama. That's why Fox and just about every far-right conservative love Jerome Corsi.

Corsi is the author of the new book The Obama Nation, went on Larry King Live to discuss the book and was taken-to-task by Paul waldman of Media Matters over the fact that the book doesn't use facts.

Conservative authors have this trick they like to use - footnotes.

You see, I can have footnotes all day long within something that I write. That doesn't mean that they are going to be "facts". Ann Coulter pulled this same line when discussing her book "Godless" 2 years ago.

Conservatives love to lambast Media Matters, claiming that they "smear" people. But, when they can provide accurate quotes, audio, video, authorized transcripts, and provide facts to back up their reporting, can you really call it a "smear"?
