It's one thing for a candidate ( for whatever political office they are campaining for ) to actively seek-out the endorsement(s) of Christian groups. We saw this with John McCain and his connection to John Hagee - and it's not always the best way to go.
It is, however, and entirely other matter - and a telling one at that - when a Christian group endorses you without you even asking for it. The 'telling' part comes in when the candidate is Barack Obama, and the message is warning against the smears that too often originate within and distributed by Christian groups.
